The DICOM Viewer allows to upload data from the tab with the study list and from the flat image viewer window to the artificial intelligence server. To upload data from the study list tab, proceed as follows:
To upload data from the flat image viewer window, select the window with the series you need and press the Artificial Intelligence button on the toolbar.
The series selected will be opened in a new flat image viewer tab. The data from the series will be anonymized and uploaded to the artificial intelligence server.
If the series selected does not comply with the requirements mentioned in section 11.2, an error notification will appears.
If the server cannot process the series (e. g. the series complies with the formal requirements, but cannot be used for lung damage assessment), an error notification will appears.
|Attention! Lowdose CT is not supported.|
|The AI Service is not intended for study of areas different from the chest.|
To interrupt the data processing, close the current tab. A dialog box will appears, in which you need to select Yes to interrupt or No to continue the process.
After the data have been processed by the artificial intelligence, a report in the form of a PDF document (the name of the series: AI report) will be saved to the local storage. If a pathology is detected, a copy of the initial series with SC modality will be created in the local storage (the name of the series: <The name of the initial series> CMAI). The results obtained from the server will be matched with the images from the initial series. All the images from the new series will be provided with notes informing the user that the pathologies detected must be confirmed by a specialist.
Depending on the type of the abnormality, in the new series, the damaged lung areas are highlighted in the following colors (marked with the corresponding numbers in Fig. 11.1):
When you close the tab with the new series, a dialog box for the results evaluation pops up. If you agree with the results obtained after processing the data, press Agree; if you do not agree, press Disagree; to close the dialog box without evaluating the results, press Ignore.
